Chief Advisor Dr. Muhammad Yunus has directed the swift transformation of Ganabhaban into a museum to preserve the memories of the July-August mass uprising. He issued this directive during a visit to Ganabhaban today, Monday (August 28), aimed at establishing a museum for the July-August mass uprising.
The Chief Advisor stated, “This Ganabhaban has been home to the autocrat Sheikh Hasina for 15 years. With her fall on August 5, this building has now become a symbol of her entire regime.”
Present with the Chief Advisor were Industrial Advisor Adilur Rahman Khan, Post and Telecommunications Advisor Nahid Islam, Labor and Employment Advisor Asif Mahmood, and the Chief Advisor’s special assistant Mahfuz Alam.
Post and Telecommunications Advisor Nahid Islam mentioned that the misdeeds of Hasina’s regime, which began in 2009, will be carefully preserved in the museum.
